Resalta joins CSOHK: Slovenian energy services leader enters the Czech-Slovenian network
The Czech-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the membership of Resalta. The Slovenian pioneer of the Energy-as-a-Service model, which also operates in the Czech Republic, strengthens the Czech-Slovenian business community with a prominent name in decarbonisation and energy efficiency.
The Czech-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (CSOHK) welcomes Resalta — one of the leading providers of energy services in Central and South-Eastern Europe — to its ranks. Ljubljana-based Resalta specialises in the Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) and Decarbonisation-as-a-Service (DaaS) model: it finances, designs, implements and operates energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for public and corporate clients — with no upfront investment required from the customer.
Who is Resalta
Resalta was founded in 2011 in Ljubljana and has since grown into a regional leader operating in more than 10 countries, including Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. A team of over 135 energy specialists has completed hundreds of projects in solar power plants, cogeneration, biogas, heat pumps and building renovations. Key references include the largest public-private energy partnership in Slovenian history — a comprehensive energy renovation of 49 buildings in Ljubljana — as well as projects for the Slovenian Ministry of Defence and the Energetika Ljubljana district heating system.
Presence in the Czech Republic
For CSOHK, Resalta's membership is particularly valuable because the company already actively operates in the Czech market. The Czech Republic is one of the key countries in its European portfolio, and Resalta thus embodies exactly the type of cross-border player the Chamber was created for — a company that bridges Slovenian know-how with the Czech industrial base and public sector.
Chamber President's comment
"Resalta's entry into CSOHK is a strong signal for us right at the start of our activities. This is a company that genuinely operates on both sides of the Czech-Slovenian axis — and that is exactly the type of connection we want to create and support," said Mgr. Tomáš Houdek, President of CSOHK.
Resalta is part of the Aggreko group, a global energy solutions provider headquartered in the United Kingdom, and has the support of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF). More information about the company can be found at www.resalta.com.
